- Gonzi, Merkel discuss immigration – German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Malta's Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi, spent part of today discussing Malta's biggest problem, illegal immigration.
- Greece tweeked its immigration laws this week to decrease the paperwork involved in seeking resident status.
- The U.K. is looking to tighten immigration rules as unemployment in the country climbs. Immigrants filled 60 to 80 thousand jobs last year that native Brits probably would have filled if there were fewer immigrants, according to ITV.
