Job Hunters Flock to Emirates

As the financial sector (and business in general) sheds jobs in America and Europe, more and more business school graduates are looking for job opportunities in the Middle East – especially in the United Arab Emirates.

BusinessWeek recently took a look at this trend. Top business school in the US and Britain now routinely schedule job hunting trips to Dubai and Abu Dhabi for their students. And students fight for spots on such trips – even though they come with a price tag of $2K to $3K and even though the prospect of actually getting hired is fairly slim.
