Opportunities for Environmental Entreprenuers in China
Filed in archive Asia by Matthew Schulz on July 25, 2007
The dawn is green, not red, in China.

Concerns over the environment and pollution caused by rapid growth have led to an interest in investment in green technologies in China. This creates an opportunity for American entrepreneurs, especially given the weaker dollar against the RMB and the Chinese government's interest in encouraging imports to offset the trade imbalance. Perhaps no one stands to benefit as much as California companies, who developed expertise in complying with California state environmental laws.
