"We asked for workers, and human beings came"
Filed in archive Asia by Matthew Schulz on July 22, 2007
Great quote attributed to the Swiss author Max Frisch in The New Melting Pot, Financial Times, July 9, 2007.

The New Melting Pot provides an interesting discussion of immigration trends in many Asian countries. Japan, Taiwan and south korea are well-known magnets in the region, but the article also details intra-Asian immigration that is less recognized by many outside the region.
